Guardian Homes

What is a Guardian Home?

A Guardian Home is a great opportunity for a person or family to enjoy a "pick of the litter" puppy/dog that is being considered for breeding by O'Shea Springers. These dogs are the best of the best as we always choose the best from our litters in order to better our breed. A great dog, at a great price, FREE. There is a deposit to ensure commitment by the Guardian Home is followed through and is then reimbursed over the time of the breeding career. The puppy/dog remains the property of O'Shea Springers until the end of the breeding career and then become the Guardian Home's dog forever after. Typically at the age of 4 years, the dog then becomes part of the forever home.

There is a commitment and willingness to be flexible for the needs of O'Shea Springers, but we believe it is well worth it to receive what is typically a "cream of the crop" puppy or dog. The value of the pup/dog is often $1,000-3,000 so a contract is necessary and for obvious reasons there is a need for us to find the perfect home.

Gem is our Southern girl imported in from Tennessee! She is AKC registered and CKC registered. She is Blue Roan in colouring. Gemma is super affectionate and calm and in appearance is enriched in the European style of an English Springer Spaniel. Make sure you have lots of time for Gem as she just loves to be loved.
Gemma now resides with her forever family in Sarnia, Ontario in one of our guardian homes. We wanted to keep Gem in our programme because of her sincere personality and beautiful looks. She was the perfect fit for Sharon and Fred and we are very lucky to have found a forever home for Gemma once she is done breeding. She is very much loved by her new family.

Poppy is a Liver Tri and is the daughter of Sophie and Remington. She is a beautiful addition to our programme with her classic prettiness and calm nature, a lot like her grandmother Lily. Poppy lives in a guardian home aswell and is one of our younger females almost ready for breeding. Watch out for beautiful puppies she will produce in the future!
