Reservation Deposit
To secure a position on our reservation lists for an English or Welsh Springer Spaniel, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required. At the time of your deposit, you may choose which list best fits your family’s timeline:

1. The Active Reservation List
Select this list if you are ready for a puppy ASAP.

- You will be assigned a numbered "pick" position for our next available/upcoming litter.

- This list is for families committed to moving forward with the next available match.

2. The Preferred Standby List
Select this list if you are not ready right away but want to secure your place in line for the future.

- You will hold a general spot on our standby list without being tied to a specific litter.

- When your circumstances change and you are ready for a puppy, you simply notify us. We will then move you to the Active Reservation List for the next available breeding, based on the date your original deposit was received.

The "One-Time Deferment" Rule (For Active Members)
For those on the Active Reservation List: If a litter is born and the timing is no longer right, you may defer your pick one (1) time to a future litter. At that point, you can choose to stay Active for the next litter or move to the Preferred Standby List until you are ready.
Note: Deferments due to a lack of preferred gender/colour do not count toward this limit.

Second Deferment
If a second deferment is requested from the Active List, you will automatically be moved to the Preferred Standby List. This ensures that families ready for a puppy now are not turned away, while still honouring your deposit and your place in our community.

Price Guarantee
O’Shea Springers will honour the puppy purchase price in effect at the time your deposit was received for a period of one (1) year. If you have not selected a puppy within one year of your deposit date, the current updated pricing will apply to your future purchase, if applicable.
